Connecting the Stonex Device

The Stonex device is registered once. After that, every session is just Connect → scan.

Prepare your iPhone or iPad

Section titled “Prepare your iPhone or iPad”

  1. Enable your Personal Hotspot (Settings → Personal Hotspot).

  2. Make sure Bluetooth is on.

Register the device (one time)

Section titled “Register the device (one time)”

  1. Open the device panel and tap Add Device.

  2. Make sure your Stonex device is powered on and in pairing mode, then tap Scan under Discovery Method.

  3. Select the discovered device from the Bluetooth list.

  4. Under WiFi Configuration, tap Scan and wait until scanning finishes.

  5. Select your Personal Hotspot network and enter its password. (You can also use Configure WiFi Manually.)

  6. Wait until the WiFi connection is established, then tap Save Device.

Connect for a session

Section titled “Connect for a session”

  1. In the device list, swipe down to refresh the connection status.

  2. Tap Connect on your registered device and wait for the connection to establish. The indicator in the navigation bar shows “Connected” with the battery percentage.

  3. To verify, scroll to the device details and tap Test capture — a fisheye image from the device appears below the diagnostic buttons.
