Upload to Cloud

When scanning, alignment, and annotation are done — and every scan is synced — upload the project. The status pill on the project page tracks it: NOT UPLOADED → UPLOADING → UPLOADED.

  1. Make sure you are logged in to the right account — uploading requires an account.

  2. Connect to a stable internet connection, preferably WiFi.

  3. On the project page, tap Upload Project and confirm.

  4. The upload runs through its stages — registering the project, uploading files, finalizing — with progress, speed, and time remaining on screen.

  5. Keep the app open and in the foreground the whole time. There is no background upload: closing or backgrounding the app interrupts it. The app itself warns: “Please keep the application open until the upload finishes to avoid data loss.”

  6. Wait for Upload Complete, then tap Close. The status pill turns UPLOADED and the project becomes read-only.

  • The status pill shows UPLOAD FAILED and the button becomes Retry Upload — check the connection and battery, then retry. The upload resumes safely; nothing is lost on a failed attempt.
  • Repeated failures on cellular? Switch to WiFi.
  • If it keeps failing, contact support with the error message shown in the upload dialog.
