weScanX User Guide

weScanX is an iOS app for scanning buildings with a Stonex SLAM device. You record scans while walking through a space, align them into one model, and split the result into floors.

Follow the workflow in order:

1. Install & Update Get weScanX via TestFlight and keep it up to date.

2. Sign Up, Log In & Permissions Create your account and grant the permissions the app needs.

3. Managing Projects Create, edit, and delete scanning projects.

4. Connecting the Stonex Device Register your device once, then connect before every session.

5. Making a Scan Record a scan: start, walk, snapshot, stop.

6. Sync Data (USB) Copy scan data from the Stonex device over a USB cable.

7. Aligning Scans Lay out every scan in Top-Down, then set its level in Side.

8. Splitting Floors Detect floors and confirm each floor's range.

9. Floor Annotation Laser measurements, camera notes, and EPA, WWS, and BOG labels.

10. Upload to Cloud Deliver the finished project to the weScan cloud.
